Our Story

Ben Sanders founded Sanders Heating & Cooling in 1953, making us the oldest air conditioning company in Greenville. The business has been bought and sold over the years, but in 2024 it came back to local ownership.

We even had the Sanders family visit our office recently to learn about the history of the company and share stories about Ben Sanders, the founder. That history means something to us.

It's no secret that most HVAC companies these days are owned by private equity. We're not. Sanders is locally owned and operated. Our owners and entire team live and work right here in Greenville. And we want to provide the highest quality service in the Upstate.

How We're Different

There are plenty of good HVAC companies in the area. We try to differentiate on communication and quality of service. When we come to your home, we inform you of all of your issues — not just the ones you already know about. And we never offer repairs you don't want or need.

If you hire another company, they'll also fix your problem. But they won't inform you of the other issues that may pop up in a year or two and share that information with you so you can prepare. We strive to provide more value on every single service call than anyone else in the Upstate.
