How often should I have my HVAC system serviced?

We recommend a professional tune-up at least once a year — ideally in the spring for your AC and in the fall for your heating system. Regular maintenance extends system life, reduces energy costs, and prevents costly breakdowns. Our Priority One members get their annual tune-up included.

What does a maintenance tune-up include?

Our comprehensive tune-up covers cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting electrical connections, lubricating moving parts, testing thermostat calibration, clearing drain lines, verifying safety controls, and running a full system performance test.

How do I know if I need a new system or just a repair?

Generally, if your system is over 12-15 years old, requires frequent repairs, or your energy bills are climbing steadily, replacement may be more cost-effective. Our technicians provide an honest System Health Check report with clear recommendations — we never pressure you into a replacement if a repair will do the job.

Do you offer emergency service?

Yes — we offer 24/7 emergency HVAC service, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Call us anytime at (864) 807-6970 and we'll dispatch a technician as soon as possible.

What is the Priority One membership?

Priority One is our VIP maintenance plan. For $19.95/month per system, you get an annual tune-up, 15% off all repairs, priority scheduling (you jump the line), no overtime charges, and extended parts and labor warranties. Most members save more than the cost of membership on their first service call.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — we offer flexible financing options through Wells Fargo, including 0% APR for qualifying systems. The application takes about 60 seconds and there's no down payment required.

What brands do you install and service?

We're a Trane Comfort Specialist and Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, and we install Trane, RunTru, and Mitsubishi equipment. However, our technicians are trained to service all major brands and models, including Carrier, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, York, and more.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Greater Greenville area including Greenville, Greer, Taylors, Simpsonville, Mauldin, Easley, Travelers Rest, Fountain Inn, Spartanburg, Landrum, Piedmont, Pelzer, and surrounding communities.

How long have you been in business?

Sanders Heating & Cooling was founded in 1953 by Ben Sanders. We've been serving the Upstate for over 70 years and are now managed by some of the most experienced HVAC specialists in the region.

Are your technicians licensed and insured?

Absolutely. All of our technicians are fully trained, licensed, and insured. Our SC HVAC License number is M112718. We also hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
